GATE 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates currently studying in the 3rd year or higher of any undergraduate degree programme, including final-year students, are eligible to appear for GATE 2027.

Candidates who have already completed an eligible government-approved degree programme in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts or Humanities can also apply.

For 3-Year Degree Students: Students studying in the 3rd year of an eligible B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. or BCA programme can also appear for GATE 2027. Eligibility is not limited only to final-year B.Tech students.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in GATE 2027.

Number of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts.
