How to Apply

  1. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC website (ssc.gov.in) — the earlier ssc.nic.in OTR is not valid for the new website.
  2. Log in and fill the Online Application Form for this examination, either via the website or the 'mySSC' mobile app.
  3. Opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication during OTR, if desired (it exempts you from stricter photo/signature/ID checks later).
  4. Capture a live photograph through the application module as prompted (no pre-existing photo upload needed).
  5. Upload a scanned signature in JPEG format (10–20 KB).
  6. Review the form using the Preview/Print option before final submission.
  7. Pay the applicable fee online (if not exempted).
  8. Submit the form and save the printout along with your Registration Number for future reference.

OTR & Application Instructions

  • OTR generated on the new SSC website remains valid for all future exams applied for on that website.
  • Only one online application per candidate is allowed for this exam (excluding the correction window).
  • Post/Force preference is submitted separately, via an Online Option Form, after Paper-II results are published — this preference is final and irreversible.

Photograph / Signature Instructions

  • Photograph is captured live within the application module — no pre-existing photo file is required.
  • Candidates must not wear a cap, mask, or glasses/spectacles while capturing the photo; face must be fully inside the delineated area, with good lighting and a plain background.
  • Scanned signature must be uploaded in JPEG format, 10–20 KB, approximately 6.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).

  • Certificate for Departmental candidates of Delhi Police (as per Annexure-IX)
  • No Objection Certificate, if already in Government employment
  • Two recent passport-size colour photographs and an original valid Photo-ID proof

Important Instructions

  • Name, date of birth, father's name and mother's name must strictly match the Matriculation Certificate.

  • Candidates without Aadhaar-Based Authentication must report 2 hours before the exam with Admission Certificate, two photographs, and original photo ID.
