  • Stage 1 — Written Competitive Exam: Offline, objective-type, multiple-choice exam of 100 marks and 2 hours' duration, based on the essential qualification prescribed for each post.

For these Group 'ग' direct recruitment posts (outside UKPSC's ambit), a candidate must fulfil at least one of the following:

  • Registered at an Uttarakhand Employment Exchange (Sevayojan) office up to the last date of application, or
  • Holds a Uttarakhand domicile / permanent residence certificate, or
  • Has passed High School and Intermediate (or equivalent) from an institution recognised in Uttarakhand

Personnel serving in the defence forces/paramilitary forces, or regular central/state government employees posted outside Uttarakhand (and their spouse or children), are also eligible to apply.
