Assistant Teacher Primary, Urban

  • Education: Graduate degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
  • Teacher Training: BTC / Urdu BTC / Vishisht BTC / 2-year RCI-recognised Special Education Diploma / 4-year B.El.Ed. / 2-year D.El.Ed. (as applicable).
  • TET: Must have passed the prescribed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the UP Government or Government of India.

Note: BTC is currently conducted under the name D.El.Ed., as stated in the notification.

Assistant Teacher Attached Primary (Aided Schools)

  • Education: Graduate degree from a recognised university/institution.
  • Teacher Training: BTC / D.El.Ed. from an NCTE-recognised course.
  • TET: Must have passed the prescribed TET for Classes 1–5 conducted by the UP Government or Government of India.
